I can completely relate! Jason left on Sunday to play at a camp for the week, so I drove 10 hours for a (long-overdue) visit to my brother's house in Missouri, in part, so that i didn't have to stay at the house by myself for the entire week! He left earlier this summer for another camp and, while i had plenty to occupy myself with during the day, i hated being in the house at night with just Leslie! She is NO comfort! She gets spooked and starts barking at the smallest noises. i think she was nervous with Jason being gone, as well. ...and of course I miss him, so i needed things to distract myself with things like antiquing and playing with my niece and nephew! (Wow! i believe that my comment is longer than your post! Oh, wordy me!)
